Rodrigo Soto Rodrigo has been a patient of Dr. Truong since 2006 and has recently become part of her team as an assistant. During high school, he gained an interest in the medical field and volunteered at Shiny Dental regularly. With ambitions to become a dentist himself one day, Rodrigo is currently enrolled in biology and pre-dental courses at the College of William & Mary. In the office, he works both the front desk and in the back with patients. Rodrigo is bilingual, being fluent in Spanish and English. Outside the office, he enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and spending time with animals.

Nancy Nancy first started working with Dr. Truong in the winter of 2008. She briefly worked for a periodontist, and later an orthodontist, which gave her valuable experience upon her return to Shiny Dental. There, she traveled with Dr. Truong to Texas and DC to attend orthodontics and invisalign seminars. The seminars greatly helped her skills when working hands on with patients. Nancy’s vast experience with all aspects of the office allowed her to work at the front desk, working with insurance companies, and treating patients. In Nancy’s free time, she loves to spend time with her family.

Eliana Eliana has been with Shiny Dental since the winter of 2011. Dr. Truong first trained her as a receptionist, but Eliana was able to grasp the skills necessary to work in all parts of the office. She traveled with Dr. Truong to attend braces and invisalign seminars in Texas and DC, gaining valuable knowledge along the way. Since then, Eliana has become an essential part of Dr. Truong’s team. In her spare time, Eliana likes to spend time with her family.

Irma Soto Irma was employed by Dr. Truong in 2009 and was trained in how to assist her with dental procedures. She worked part-time at the dental office and earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from George Mason University. Through her work at Dr. Truong’s, Irma decided she wanted to further her education into healthcare. Irma is currently enrolled in an RN nursing program at Northern Virginia Community College. She is interested in later studying to be a dental hygienist to help her brother, Rodrigo Soto, with his future practice. In her spare time, Irma likes to work on puzzles and go walking in her neighborhood.

Leny Machado Leny has eight years of experience in the dental field. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Commonwealth of Virginia. She enjoys working with patients and making them feel comfortable. Her goal is to learn more about the dental field through the eyes of Dr. Truong, and apply that knowledge to her future studies.
